Physiotherapy Career

I am a chartered physiotherapist, holding a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Plymouth. I bring extensive experience from the NHS, having worked across musculoskeletal care, neurological rehabilitation, cardiothoracic care, and elderly care. I currently practice as an NHS Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

In addition, I have completed a postgraduate diploma in veterinary physiotherapy and I am working towards gaining my Master’s degree. By combining my human and veterinary expertise, I am able to deliver personalised, evidence-based care, designed to help both animals and people move with confidence, recover effectively, and reach their full potential.

Equestrian Experience

I began my equestrian journey at Pony Club and have progressed to competing at Novice level in British Eventing. Alongside this, I remain actively involved in Riding Club, as well as British Dressage and British Show Jumping.

Through this experience, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the physical demands and training requirements placed on both competitive horses and riders at all levels. This enables me to design targeted, practical, and effective physiotherapy programmes tailored to the specific needs of each partnership.

My aim is to support equestrian athletes and their horses in recovering effectively, enhancing performance, and maintaining long-term health.

Recent achievements with my horse, Orbit, include qualifying for and competing at the Badminton Horse Trials Grassroots Championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Canine Experience

I have grown up with dogs and have always had a strong interest in their wellbeing, performance, and training. This lifelong passion, combined with my professional qualifications and evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, allows me to deliver tailored treatment plans designed to support each dog’s individual needs.

During my clinical placements, I gained valuable experience working with a variety of dogs, including agility and working dogs such as gundogs. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the physical demands placed on performance and working dogs, as well as the importance of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and optimising movement.

Sporting Achievements

Alongside my equestrian and canine interests, I have a diverse sporting background. As a teenager, I was part of the England Netball Talent Performance Pathway, where I developed a strong understanding of sport-specific training, athletic development, and performance demands.

Since then, I have continued to participate in a variety of sports and remain a dedicated gym enthusiast, maintaining a strong focus on strength, conditioning, and injury prevention.

These experiences have shaped my resilience, discipline, and passion for optimising movement to improve performance. They underpin my commitment to continual self-improvement and to supporting both people and animals in achieving their full potential.

Combining my clinical training with personal sporting experience enables me to deliver physiotherapy that is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to real-world demands.
